Kali King Rooftop Tent: The foldout that fits a family.
Foldout rooftop tents earn their fans for one reason: more sleeping space per inch of roof footprint. But the tradeoff is usually the shell. Most foldout competitors protect their designs with fiberglass or fiber-reinforced plastic — materials that flex under road vibration, develop stress cracks at hardware points and corners over time, and require gelcoat maintenance to stay sealed. Aluminum doesn't. The Kali King's hard shell won't crack, won't blister, and won't need resurfacing after a few seasons of hard use. And at 72" of interior width when deployed, it's one of the few foldout hard shells on the market that genuinely sleeps three adults or a family of four — without asking anyone to compromise.
