One-handed operation, simply start to lift the hood and it will rise unassisted in a smooth and controlled motion. Redline Tuning is the worldwide leader in aftermarket Hood QuickLIFT systems since 2002 with hundreds of vehicle-specific applications. This system is designed to fit around popular add-ons, like the PowerTray vertical switch pro panel / Switch Pro SP9100 8-switch panel. Our lower ball-stud will fit and clear the tray and components. System will also work with the SDHQ mounting bracket and SwitchPro power module, with slight modification to the SDHQ bracket.

➜ Our standard Hood QuickLIFT PLUS for the Tacoma (2016+) (21-27015) puts the hood height at exactly the same height as the prop rod. However, for those who need it to go higher we have developed a new system which raises the hood's height 7" above the prop rod mounting location - this is our max-lift edition. Max Lift Edition is only available in QuickLIFT PLUS form, no stainless ELITE series available in this edition.
➜ Some mounting hardware included in the system requires use of special multi-grip rivets (included) to attach ball stud brackets (drilling is required).

✔ MAXLIFT Edition - Our MAXLIFT Edition raises the hood 7 inches higher than the stock prop rod height providing additional access to the engine bay.
✔ INSTALLATION - The Hood QuickLIFT System includes all components needed for the installation. . We include detailed full-color installation manuals to make installation a breeze.
✔ QuickLIFT PLUS (ALL BLACK SYSTEM) - All of our installation hardware is designed to last and we spare no expense on the details. First, we zinc plate all steel-mounting hardware, then each bracket is also black powder coated for the ultimate in corrosion protection. QuickLIFT PLUS includes black gas springs.
✔ BLACK GAS SPRINGS - The gas springs used in this application each have a black e-coated steel body with black annealed extending rod. The end-fittings used are designed specifically for this application. Gas strut orientation is always body end up (large tube attaching to hood bracket) and extending rod attaches to lower ball stud.
✔ PROGRESSIVE-RATE GAS SPRINGS - Redline Tuning gas springs are not off-the-shelf parts, they are designed by us and manufactured to our specifications for each vehicle application. Our exclusive end-of-stroke dampening slows the rate of extension over the final inches of travel eliminating stress to the hood.

➜ We accept returns for exchange or refund 7 calendar days after delivery of the product. At our sole discretion after 7 calendar days, we will offer an exchange or store credit only. Items must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition".
➜ There is a 15% restocking fee for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged. Again you MUST contact us within 7 days if you intend to return ANY item back to our store. Items returned to us AFTER 7 days and WITHOUT contacting us, order will NOT be refunded.
